1How does the 3-day free trial work?+
Sign up, add a payment method via Stripe, get instructions to install your connector. No charge for the first 72 hours from when you finish setup. Cancel anytime in those 3 days and you pay nothing. After 72 hours, the £39.99/mo subscription kicks in — pause or cancel anytime from the dashboard.
2What does 'self-hosted' mean exactly?+
You run a small Docker container (~270 MB) on a machine you control — your laptop, an old Mac mini in a cupboard, a £4/mo VPS, your office NAS. The container holds your encrypted vault (your API keys, your business data, your conversation history). Our Hetzner brain talks to it over a secure WebSocket. Your data physically lives on YOUR machine, not ours. We see the brain decisions, not your contents.
3What does 'bring your own keys' mean?+
You create an Anthropic account, generate an API key, paste it into your connector during setup (it gets stored encrypted on YOUR machine). All AI calls happen on YOUR Anthropic account — you see every penny, we don't touch it, no markup. Switch from Haiku to Opus mid-month on your Anthropic console; our subscription stays at £39.99.
4What does a typical monthly AI bill look like?+
Based on usage patterns — Haiku-default light user: £15-40/mo of Anthropic. Mixed Haiku/Sonnet for normal ops: £50-150/mo. Power user with Sonnet + heavy automation: £200-500/mo. Set a daily spend cap on your Anthropic account if you want a hard ceiling.
5Can I cancel anytime?+
Yes. Monthly rolling. No notice period, no cancellation fees. Cancel in the dashboard. Subscription stops at end of current billing cycle — your connector keeps working until then.
6Is my data safe? Where is it hosted?+
Your business data — every email, lead, memory entry, scheduled task, AI conversation — lives on YOUR connector, not on our servers. Encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM, keyed by a secret only your container knows. Even we can't read it. Our Hetzner core only sees brain decisions + the WSS round-trips, never the contents.
7What about VAT?+
Prices ex-VAT. UK customers pay 20% VAT on top. EU/ROW VAT-free with valid VAT number. Stripe-issued invoices, itemised, auto-sent on each cycle.
